Trossachs Beer Festival
The Trossachs Beer Festival is a celebration of the quality of Scottish Real Ales. Scottish brewers lead the way in innovation and have created varied and interesting products using heather, seaweed, porridge oats, red berries and malt whisky within their ingredients.
There are about 26 micro breweries throughout Scotland providing a varied and interesting selection of real ales. They are spread from the Shetlands to the Borders and we feature 120 different bottled beers in our Scottish Real Ale Shop. The Festival has a green focus on local real ales from across the Central Area to reduce the beer miles that the casks travel. So why not join us and enjoy beers from Traditional Scottish Ales, Tryst, Harviestoun, William Brothers and our own Lade Inn Real Ales.
The art of brewing is alive and thriving throughout Scotland, where whisky tends to dominate our drinks market. The Lade Inn caters for both markets with an excellent selection of about 50 malts, however the Trossachs Beer Festival allows us to indulge our passion for Scottish Real Ales over a ten day period with a programme of tastings, meet the brewer, food specials cooked using our real ales and four Scottish Folk music evenings. This is the opportunity to indulge in the best of Scottish Hospitality food, drink and traditional music from Burns to Dougie MacLean.
