Taste of the Tattoo (Jedburgh)
In celebration of Scotland's Year of Homecoming, the Edinburgh Military Tattoo for the first time in its history, will also be going on tour to selected venues outside Edinburgh offering new audiences the opportunity to experience free, lunchtime, 60 minute versions of this summer's Edinburgh Military Tattoo. Enjoy four exclusive free taster performances which are expected to be witnessed by thousands of people across Scotland, showcasing some 500-performers and featuring participants from Canada, Australia, Tonga, Europe and the United Kingdom. The line-up will include audience favourites such as Switzerland's Top Secret Drum Corps, Highland Dancers from 'Down Under', Massed Military Bands, a Tongan cultural troupe, along with the inimitable Massed Pipes and Drums.
