Taste of Grampian

Taste of Grampian is a one-day food and drink festival which will be held for the 10th time on Saturday 6th June 2009 at Thainstone Centre, Inverurie, 16 miles from Aberdeen in the north east of Scotland.

As well as the customary celebrity chef demonstrations in the indoor arena, the outdoor arena will be back by popular demand. The outdoor arena will again host a variety of attractions to entertain the crowds throughout the day, and several new attractions have been added to the event such as; schools competitions, Grampian Chef of the Year demonstration, live music, face painting, wine-tasting and dancing sheep!

Especially for Homecoming Year, Taste of Grampian will be displaying local whisky as well as promoting the Homecoming theme throughout the event.

Taste of Grampian has something to offer everyone. There is ample parking (£3 per car) and admission is FREE to the public. There will be a varied programme including cookery demonstrations by leading chefs, schools competitions, face painting, food sampling, wine tasting, children's fun rides, pipe band, the Press and Journal motor show and much more.
