Smith in Glasgow '09
The 'Smith in Glasgow' Conference will be held on March 31st to April 2nd 2009. Contributing to Homecoming Scotland's celebration of great Scottish minds and innovations, the conference, held at the University of Glasgow, marks the 250th anniversary of the publication of Adam Smith's Theory of Moral Sentiments.
Recognising the breadth of Smith's interests and range of his work at Glasgow, the Conference will be organised along four themes: Smith, Scotland and the Enlightenment; Smith and Culture, Literature and the Arts; Smith and Philosophy and Smith and the Social Sciences.
