Polish Cultural Festival
Polish Cultural Festival is all about creating an interesting, fun, bonding experience for all. We aim to showcase all that is good about Polish involvement within the new emerging Scotland. The diverse nature of modern Scotland is something that we should all embrace and be proud of. Regardless of background, we are all considered modern Scots and we all share in the social, economic and cultural benefits that diversity brings.
Polish Cultural Festival will help us to recognise the role which the Polish community has in shaping Scotland's culture today. During the Festival, Edinburgh will provide the lively stage for the cast of inspiring and entertaining public events: great music, theatre, exhibitions, lectures, films, and not forgetting a Polish medieval Tournament. The festival's programme is created to serve as a refreshing introduction for the uninitiated, whilst also providing an enlivening awakening for the Polish. During the festival week we will also explore Polish-Scottish history and hear the stories of the generations of Poles who have chosen Scotland as their home.
We promise a truly Polish experience, with excellent artists from Poland but also new talents discovered in Scotland.
