North East Open Studios
North East Open Studios (NEOS) is an award winning collective of artists, makers and galleries based in northeast Scotland run on voluntary grounds as a community organisation. This collective serves to engage wider audiences in all aspects of art; to grow small-scale art and craft business in the north east of Scotland, and to provide a cohesive network of professional artists and makers.
This event provides the ideal opportunity for Homecomers to visit the area's artists and makers at work in their studios, workshops and galleries in September 2009. Participants range from nationally acclaimed galleries to small scale quality craft makers. Work on display includes everything from paintings to handmade briefcases, as well as sculpture, ceramics, jewellery, glass, wood furniture, photography and textiles.
