Largs Viking Festival
During Homecoming Year we're celebrating Scotland's historic links with the Vikings and the infamous Battle of Largs in 1263. Traditional and contemporary events combine, culminating in an explosive climax: the re-enactment of the Battle, longship burning and a fantastic firework display.
Activities include a fly past by an RAF Eurofighter and a Jazz concert featuring the world-renowned Scottish saxophonist Tommy Smith in a group with Arild Andersen and Paolo Vinaccia
