Isle of Arran Wildlife Festival 2009

The Isle of Arran Wildlife Festival is an 8 day extravaganza or wildlife watching events, guided walks, talks, films, photographic and art exhibitions. The festival celebrates what is wonderful and unique about Scotlands wildlife, and in particular the amazing wildlife of the Isle of Arran. With over 70 wildlife related events, from perennial favourites such as "Bats and Beer" or a "Raptor Ramble" to the creation of a giant basking shark from recycled wood by a local sculptor over the course of the week, there is something for everyone to enjoy.
