Gigha Music Festival - The Homecoming
A cultural feast over 5 days.
Friday - Gigha Primary School -" Homecoming" play at the Village Hall.
Traditional music sessions in three venues - The Hotel, the Gallery and the Boathouse.
Saturday 1pm - Gala Day - Pipe band, stalls, music on the green.
5pm - Barbecue at the Boathouse - dance on the shore!
7.30 - Main Event - Concert and ceilidh - village Hall.
Sunday - boat trips - times to be arranged
1pm - Pipers picnic at Rubha chinn mhor. Start at the Hotel.
Evening music sessions at three venues.
Monday - guided archaeology walk- Achamore Garden talk and tree planting. Oral History gathering.
Tuesday - flora and fauna guided walk -
8pm - Gigha's own band - Graham's Gathering farewell dance at the Hotel.
Throughout the event there will be a Homecoming Exhibition of photographs and Historical information - at the Gigha Hotel.
