From the Vaults: Whisky and the Scots

A rare chance to see the history of Scotland's national drink told from the treasures in the National Archives of Scotland. Highlights include the earliest document to mention whisky from 1494 and the book in which the dying poet Robert Burns signed for his salary as an exciseman in 1796. The exhibition will be accompanied by specially-loaned objects relating to the history of Scotch Whisky.
