Dumfries Fling - The Reel Thing
Homecoming - The Final Fling will brighten up the dark days of St Andrew's weekend with a feast of music, culture and other activities in the heart of Dumfries.
Visit the old haunts of Robert Burns and experience some of the world's best music, flavoured by the Scottish tradition, along with the best of home-grown local talent. Artists already booked include Moishe's Bagel, Paul McKenna and his band and Man at the Window.
The Reel Thing in Dumfries - the challenge is on to set a record for the biggest Scottish reel in the world. Crowds of dancers will take part in The Reel Thing in the pedestrianised High Street beside the outdoor stage and big screen.
Quirky St Andrew's Eve events, pub sessions and street theatre will create a warm festival atmosphere for visitors and locals to celebrate the end of the Homecoming year in style.
