'The Scottish World' - A talk by Billy Kay
A global journey of discovery led by writer and broadcaster Billy Kay. In a talk hosted by the Rotary clubs of Midlothian, Mr Kay will highlight the influence the Scots have had on communities and cultures on almost every continent. He will argue that while their self-confidence may sometimes have been questioned, ringing endorsements for the integrity and intellect, poetry and passion of the Scottish people have been voiced in every country he has visited. You are invited to join with Rotary in Midlothian in a celebration of the enormous contribution Scots have made to the modern world.
