'Fest'n'Furious'
Celebrating its 5th birthday this year, Dundee's traditional music festival promises to be bigger and better than ever. With internationally renowned artists such as The Peatbog Faeries, Black Voices, Panda Su, The Hotseats and the legendary Michael Marra, 'Fest n Furious 2009' will satisfy all fans of live music. Taking place in a variety of fantastic venues across the city, this jam-packed weekend also incorporates films, workshops and eight traditional Scottish Ceilidhs. Suitable for all ages, 'Fest n Furious 2009' provides the finale to Dundee's Homecoming Scotland Week-which features the gala launch of a new book; 'For A' That, A Celebration of Burns', as well as a host of genealogy events at the Angus&Dundee Roots Festival.
