Dumbarton Castle & Rock – ‘The Ancient Kingdom of Strathclyde’

West Dunbartonshire is a great place to live, work and visit.

Connecting the shores of Loch Lomond with Glasgow, Scotland’s Style Capital, West Dunbartonshire provides access to some of Scotland’s most beautiful scenery and a lively network of towns and villages.

Gateway to Scotland’s National Park and home to Inchmurrin Island, Dumbarton Castle and the Erskine Bridge, the region has a rich cultural history forever shaped by its world-wide reputation for shipbuilding.
