Who Do You Think You Are? LIVEWe will be working alongside The Gathering 2009 to promote Homecoming Scotland at the Who Do You Think You Are LIVE event in London at the end of February.

If you have ever wondered what your ancestors were like, where they lived or what they did for a living - this is an event where you can make incredible discoveries about the story of your family. Who Do You Think You Are? LIVE takes place in Olympia, London from Friday 27th February – Sunday 1st March 2009, and is the country’s biggest and most comprehensive family history event.

Some of the celebrities appearing at Who Do You Think You Are LIVEOn Saturday 28th February, there will be a celebration of Scottish heritage. Opening the show will be Celtic Spirit, who are guaranteed to kick off Scottish Saturday with a bang! 

The workshop timetable will have a Celtic flavour, including topics such as the roles of clans & tartans, and, of course, Who Do You Think You Are? sessions with Sir Matthew Pinsent CBE, who discovered he is descended from Edward I (1239-1307), the Hammer of the Scots. A host of exhibitors will also help you uncover and celebrate your heritage.

LIVE is the UK’s largest gathering of TV historians, celebrity enthusiasts, family history experts and nearly 200 exhibitors, covering everything from document recording and preservation  to memorabilia, photograph restoration to DNA specialists – this is a unique opportunity to fill in the gaps in your family tree and make your connection to events in history.
