Royal Highland Show Winner & Latest Ticket Information

William Evans from Bicester in Oxon has won the two VIP tickets to the Royal Highland Show in an online competition run by Homecoming Scotland.
The prison governor has only been to Scotland twice, once on business, so he and his wife are looking forward to exploring the Capital and of course, visiting the Royal Highland Show.
William, an animal lover, is looking forward to seeing the many animals at the show and admits to a soft spot for Highland Cattle.
He is also making a point to catch the terrier racing so he can bring home some training tips to his lurcher.
Food is also a big attraction for William so he is planning to stock up on Scottish produce including award-winning cheese, whisky and of course haggis.
Over 160,000 visitors are expected at this year’s show, which includes a visit from Her Majesty The Queen and HRH The Princess Royal, on Friday 26th June.
The Royal Scots Dragoon Guards – Brit Award winners – will also be at the Show in honour of Homecoming, as will a display by The Scottish Borders Common Ridings.
Show Manager, David Dunsmuir, said: “I was delighted to speak to William and advise him of his win. He is clearly pleased to be coming up to Scotland as a guest of the Show, particularly in the year of Homecoming.”
