Homecoming Scotland 2009 celebrated the 250th anniversary of Robert Burns’ birth. We also celebrated some of Scotland’s great contributions to the world: golf, whisky, great minds and innovations and Scotland’s rich ancestry and culture.

The RBS Rugby Challenge

RBS 6 Nations ChampionshipRBS (Royal Bank of Scotland) is taking the RBS Rugby Challenge around rugby regions in the UK throughout the 2009 RBS 6 Nations Championship, bringing a virtual rugby experience, featuring Homecoming Scotland branding, to fans of all ages.

The event will be held at five venues in Wales, Scotland and England during this year’s Championship, visiting Birmingham, Cardiff, Manchester, Glasgow and Edinburgh between 6 February and 14 March.

RBS Rugby Challenge visualCurrent and former players from the rugby world will be on hand to meet fans, offering kicking tips and signing autographs. By successfully kicking virtual conversions, fans can win some fantastic rugby related prizes, including RBS 6 Nations match tickets, rugby shirts and weekend packages to away games.

Look out for the RBS Rugby Challenge at the following locations:

Friday 27 & Saturday 28 February  (11am-4pm), Glasgow: Sliverburn Centre
Friday 13 & Saturday 14 March  (11am-4pm), Edinburgh: Gyle Centre
