Looking for your memories!

Are you an ex patriate of Glasgow? The organisers of The Memory Projector, one of this year's Homecoming Scotland events is looking for your stories…..  They have asked us to help them spread the word.  Read on for more details.......

As part of this year's Merchant City Festival critically acclaimed theatre company Wild Works will be creating The Memory Projector in connection with Homecoming Scotland amongst others. The memory projector will allow the audience to immerse themselves in the past, the present and the future.

The company is very keen to contact the Scottish Diasporas around the world and they are looking for memories, stories and pictures. The main focus of the piece is the world famous River Clyde…..

• Did you work at the shipyards?
• Did you go ‘doon the water’ at fair fortnight?
• Was your childhood spent watching the water and the ships sail by?
• Did your migration involve leaving Glasgow by boat?
