Edinburgh International Book Festival Celebrates the Success of Homecoming

The
Edinburgh International Book Festival, the largest celebration of the written word in the world, created a series of special events for Homecoming Year and provided a unique opportunity to celebrate Scotland’s rich literary heritage. Taking place in the heart of Scotland’s capital city, the Book Festival explored the quality and depth of Scottish literature through a packed programme of activity that featured the texts of
Robert Burns among contemporary writings by A L Kennedy and others.
