Homecoming Scotland 2009

Homecoming Scotland 2009 celebrated the 250th anniversary of Robert Burns’ birth. We also celebrated some of Scotland’s great contributions to the world: golf, whisky, great minds and innovations and Scotland’s rich ancestry and culture.

Donald Smith's book on BurnsIn January, to commemorate the 250th anniversary of Robert Burns, the leading theme was Burns, with a number of fascinating articles including an interview with Donald Smith, Director of the Scottish Storytelling Centre who is discussing his two new books on the life of Robert Burns as well as an extract from Andrew O'Hagan's A Night Out With Robert Burns.
