A visual tribute to the Bard featuring work by original Scottish artists, performers and designers. This ticketed event takes the audience on a promenade experience revealing iconic sites and sounds and concluding in a spectacular finale.
I, Robert Burns (24-5 Jan)
I, Robert Burns - the first major stage production on the life of Scotland's bard for 50 years - is being presented in Ayr's Gaiety Theatre on January 24-25 as part of the opening celebrations of the Year of the Homecoming and to marke the 250th anniversary of the poet's birth. More....

Alloway 1759 (Burns Day Sun 25 Jan)
Go back 250 years and reminisce about the birth of the bard at Burns Cottage, visit A Star is Born exhibition and enjoy a re-enactment of the Tam O’ Shanter ride. Costumed street characters provide a sprinkling of nostalgia throughout.
Burns an’ a’ that Festival (Sat 16 – Sun 24)
A special homecoming year for the Burns an’ a’ that Festival that each year celebrates Scottish life and culture in the heart of Burns’ countryside. This Ayrshire festival has an International profile as well as a high community involvement and is a definite date for the diary.
