Flying the Semple Family Flag!
The Castle Semple Visitor Centre at Lochwinnoch has invited all members of the Semple family, however distant, to raise the Semple Family Flag when they come to visit the Castle Semple Centre, which is in the area of the ancestral home of the family. Visitors should introduce themselves to staff and sign a special family visitor book. They will then be invited to raise the standard on the flagpole outside to show that a member of the Semple family is visiting. A wonderful photo opportunity with the marvellous view of Castle Semple Loch in the background!

The Visitor Centre hosts an exhibition of the history of the Castle Semple estate, including a full size reproduction of the estate plan from 1785.
When: Monday 6th April to Wednesday 30th September 2009.
Where: Castle Semple Visitor Centre, Lochwinnoch, Renfrewshire.
