Iconic BurnsIconic Burns, will be one of the highlights of the Homecoming programme. This outdoor event, staged in Alloway, the birthplace of Robert Burns on Saturday 24th January, it will see the village become a focal point for the Burns celebrations. Village locations such as Burns Cottage, The Brig O’ Doon and The Auld Kirk will be brought to life in a one-off extravaganza for this special year.

Iconic BurnsSome of the UK’s top lighting and design artists brought together by UZ Events, are involved in what will be a unique Burns tribute. Free tickets are available by public ballot by registering, using the form below  before the 11th January 2009.

Iconic Burns Public Ballot Terms & Conditions

  • Only entries submitted via the Public Ballot entry form on the http://www.homecomingscotland2009.com website will be considered.
  • All entries must be received by 12:00 am on the 11th January 2009.
  • A maximum of 4 tickets can be applied for per registration.
  • Tickets will be allocated by Public Ballot.
  • Successful applicants are selected at random by computer from all entries received via the competition entry form on http://www.homecomingscotland2009.com by 12:00 am on the 11h January 2009.
  • Tickets are non-transferable and shall not be resold.
  • Entries from employees and their immediate families of the promoter, its agents or anyone professionally connected with the promotion will not be considered.
  • Entries via third parties or in bulk will not be considered.
  • Winners will be notified by e-mail (using the e-mail address provided on the entry form) by Thursday 15th January 2009.
